Really Interesting Podcast
I must confess, I haven't really read books for a long time. But this show has inspired me to do so. However I really enjoy this show. The show has a variety of interesting guests that are highly regarded in a variety of fields. This mean there is so many fascinating topics that can inspire the listener to go off and study this further in depth should they wish. To me, it comes across that Josie is so keen to soak up information and learn from these guests. It is a privilege to feel like I am joining her on these journey's, even if I am not at the same level of worldly knowledge and intelligence to always follow it. Her usual enthusiasm for topics the guests bring up really keeps me gripped to the conversation. Where Robin's knowledge on a variety of subject can always bring in an intresting tangent. The show's very much have a relaxed feeling and for me this makes them so much more pleasurable to listen to something with a much more formal "reviewing books" structure. It is like Robin, Josie and their guest have just met up for a casual chat and they don't feel obliged to say or not say anything. Robin and Josie do a great job of making sure the podcast isn't just about them and making sure their guest can fully contribute. I guess without visuals and not a full understanding of how a dynamic between the 2 hosts have developed, it could sound like people are jumping over each other. But to me this is just the way friends talk when in groups and it makes the whole feel much nicer to me. I really hope they continue to makes these as they have really been one of my highlights of 2016. Thank you so much Robin, Josie and the production team for making these wonderful podcasts.Read full review »

I enjoy these ramblings enormously. While stating they are a shambles, they are, in fact, a treasure box of news about books, ideas, ramblings, introductions to things I had forgotten and introductions to things I've never hear of. Highly recommended.Read full review »
