What if the scene in Office Space where they destroyed the printer was expanded to include violent attacks against the rest of the office workers? This is apparently the premise the writers here started with. Employees at a weapons manufacturing company get dosed with an energy drink that turns them all into bloodthirsty psychopaths. A decent cast. Some good zingers. A fair amount of violence, but a lot of the potential for some good gore happens off-screen. Not necessarily a movie to avoid, but if you do watch it, temper your expectations. Office Uprising Final Grade: Steve was a little more impressed with this movie than Brandon was. The cast was solid. The premise was interesting. This movie was sufficiently entertaining to be an average offering. 3 of 5 Brandon's expectations/hopes were not met by this movie. It was a romantic comedy at heart, didn't lean enough into the gore and most of the one-liners didn't land. 2 of 5 Cocktail of the Week: Hot Totty aka Nature's Medicine 2 oz Spiced Rum 1/4 oz Lemon Juice 1/4 oz Honey Top with hot water Combine all ingredients in a coffee mug. Garnish with a lemon slice, a cinnamon stick and maybe some whole cloves if you like. Classic at-home remedy if you're out of cough medicine.
