What is the difference between this channel and World business report? Seems to be the same often.

Devina has a accent that is hard to understand, her humour is flat, would be nice to have hosts with different backgrounds. The show is too often India /Asia centric. Sound quality is mediocre.

I applaud BBC World Service’s attempt to diversify their broadcasting staff but Devina is just not up to the task. Her accent and extremely error prone English are unintelligible most of the time. It’s painful to hear her struggle to keep the conversation across interviewees and the two guest...Read full review »

Relentless pursuit of connecting all the geo-political, environmental & social dots impacting the present & future of economy, globally with entertaining expert observation & analysis. Perhaps at times it could improve by giving a more in-depth analysis of the economical impact by...Read full review »

British deep state propaganda funded by forced taxes on the British people and then using that to brainwash them. Classic BBC, using the peoples own money to brainwash them.

Well presented

Having listened to BBC in various formats for many years and more recently to BBC podcasts including Business Matters I’m disappointed in a change over the last 4-5 months to an apparently lighter and less informed style of interview. In the most recent Business Matters session the interviewer...Read full review »

Invited guest of varying quality and are never challenged on statements that demonstrably wrong. In the latest program, 1 dec. 2021, on guest host, Jyoti Malhotra, stated that there was no issue with dynastic inheritance of major companies. Despite the fact that such companies on average...Read full review »

The seed of the recording is much to fast to be enjoyed. Such a shame

Glad to find another gem to keep me up to the minute on global issues. I could have done without the micro-aggression of the journalist covering the November 21 COVAX facility story. This is regarding his ending quip about what Tedros meant about multilateralizing the vaccine. He clearly meant...Read full review »

Great podcast. Goes beyond just the news and delves into very interesting and diverse discussions. My favorite podcast for sure.

Suddenly this podcast has nothing to do with business and is just an anti USA msnbc replica. Politics and occasionally - how is politics affecting business.

Has a sensational tone.. always high pitch

Brilliant when it sticks to business news.

Staying at home oke. But you are the BBC, you should be able to make a podcast without glitching sounds. Fix it!

Simply put, an end-to-end word coverage from business to politics; from Alaska to New Zealand. I thoroughly enjoy this. Keeps me up to date.

BBC podcast guest tends to be a little bit over courteous and polite; but sure not Mr Peter Morici. Very balanced and down to earth realist that’s not afraid to speak his mind and talk of things that greatly increased my horizon .. I’m a big fan. My only complaint; he (and a lot of people)...Read full review »

Another great business podcast from the BBC. Smart guests and the relevant global issues of the day. There is some overlap between this and the BBC World Business Report podcast. A great show to listen to if you want to catch up on the biggest news of the day while also going a bit more in depth...Read full review »

I subscribe and check every day for topics of interest. I do request that interviewees always be treated with respect. There is a current fashion for interviewer rudeness in both tone and questions which I dislike intensely. It’s always possible to expose inadequacies and/or gaps in understanding...Read full review »

My favourite podcast! Just over 50 mins of business news with discussions from guests (often regular ones, you start to recognize many after a while) guided by Roger Hearing and his team. I find the approach interesting as you get opinions from across the globe on key matters. Very enjoyable.

Great material, but hard to separate one subject from the other. You should take a page from Marketplace or Bloomberg Surveillance podcast and play some 15-20 sec songs in between subjects. Anyway, great podcast.

I love this program for its smart, thoughtful, 'non-sensationalizing' approach that informs their editorial decisions about which news of the day to report. And, I love the way they do it: usually three- or four-way conversations (smart, thoughtful, 'non-sensationalizing') with...Read full review »
