Yes. Just, yes.
This is, without a doubt, my favorite podcast. Period. (Ha). My only complaint is that I wish it were longer, and more frequent. But these ladies are busy, and hardworking, so I'll take what I can get! I love their refreshing advice, and intelligent perspectives. Thank you much, Aminatou and Ann, for your unflinchingly feminist voices. It pains me to encounter so many women trying to be cute, and exclusively appealing to the male ear (gaze?) in so many female-led podcasts. This podcast speaks to the honest, unapologetic, high-achieving side in every woman, and it should be celebrated. Shine on, ladies. P.s. "This week in menstruation" gives me life, as the kids are saying.Read full review »

I am upset daily when I check my podcasts to see if there was a new episode of Call Your Girlfriend released and there isn’t (because for some reason I don’t know the schedule - is it not every week?) But when there is- life is good. I love this podcast and these ladies and their life talks.

Fantastic wrap up of culture/news/work/caftans/periods - I have not yet found other podcast voices (maybe aside from some of Joanna Robinson’s podcasts) that I identify with so much. Honest and fun and smart - always! Thank you!
