defeating the purpose?
i was under the impression that people enter feminist and social justice spheres because they believe that judgmental, prejudicial attitudes are unfair and a waste of mental energy. these ladies spend most of their podcast spouting judgment, including "nsgu girls--no sports growing up"...i believe aminatou called them 'the worst', as she often does. meaningless chatter but their opinions are frequently mean and unpleasant for no real reason. hating police brutality? totally behind it. spouting negative evaluations of pretty much every pop culture item mentioned on the show? not enjoyable!Read full review »

I am upset daily when I check my podcasts to see if there was a new episode of Call Your Girlfriend released and there isn’t (because for some reason I don’t know the schedule - is it not every week?) But when there is- life is good. I love this podcast and these ladies and their life talks.
