Cam & Ray's Cold War; infotainment to the core (with extra rudeness)
Cameron and Ray have left ancient history (see Life of Caesar and Life of Alexander for more historical information wrapped in naff but hilarious musical clips and served on a bed of dick-jokes) and hurtled into the modern era with this in-depth look at the origins and details of what is known as the Cold War. Cam allows his political prejudices to colour most of his commentary but remains as objective as it's possible for a very VERY opinionated guy to be. Ray, whose lack of preparation is an endearing feature of the other podcasts these two produce, is able, through his knowledge of the era covered in the earlier episodes (Ray produces a WW2 podcast series), to cover his natural lethargy. I haven't yet got to the post-war episodes but I'm sure Ray will just tell Cameron that his homework was eaten by a snake or bird. Great listening though. Love itRead full review »
