Just like warm apple pie
Carl Sagan said, “If you want to make an apple pie from scratch, you must first create the universe.” And so it is for Ray and Cam, constructing the entire universe of the geopolitics of the time and all the important characters that were involved, with a bunch of dick jokes and music. That's right, this is no ordinary history podcast. They go deeper than anyone else, luxuriate in the details more than others, give ten times more background than other sites, but they also have way more fun than anyone else. Why was Stalin extremely suspicious of the West? You'll find out! And hear some filthy jokes. How did Europe get divided up after the war? You'll be astounded to hear how it went down. Along with some eighties music! Was Churchill the hero he is portrayed as, or was he far more complex? And will Cam maintain his Churchill accent to the end of the sentence?! Will Ray run out of limoncello? You'll learn, you'll laugh, you will thoroughly enjoy this most unique of podcasts!Read full review »
