The Groundhog Day of 20th century history podcasts
Cam and Ray doing the Cold War might sound like the best idea since toilet paper. And it sort of is. Just imagine listening to the Podfather and his sidekick talking about and analysing political history from the second half of the twentieth century. That’s infotainment! But: They know very well that understanding has to be based on knowledge of the background. That is why everytime their timeline closes in on 1950, the make a jump back around 50 years (at least). So that we all can be ready to understand some of the mechanics when they one day will start podcasting about the cold war proper. At the time of writing Cam & Ray has spent 149+hours talking about the players, economix, Yalta and Potsdam, the Manhattan project, the Marshall plan, Indo-Cina, Korea, the american red scare, Berlin, Zionism, the Soviet bomb and Tito. (And 4 hours of Fidel Castro as a bonus). As you can see, you get your money worth by far. And one time in the future they will find the secret in their heart and wake up one morning (in Australia) / evening (in Virginia) and start on the exciting story of earth from 1950 and past 1990.

So happy these two have decided to continue the magic and tackle another topic. Regardless of you political views the banter and running jokes make this one of my favorite podcasting team. Hope you two keep up the good work.
