Embarrassing. We are individuals. Don’t group “us” together.
I am Mexican American. I am Latino. I am Hispanic. Lastly, I’m an individual with my own beliefs, morals and values and thoughts. I do not speak for all my people and my people don’t speak for me. I don’t view the world, my life and politics through the lens of race, ethnicity or heritage. This podcast lowers the bar for us hardworking, law abiding, strong, confident and motivated people. Of course there is racism. Of course we as a people have faced it. Every group has. Accept it. Grow from it. Move on. I AM NOT A VICTIM. I am not weak and will not be spoken to or at in a belittling manner. High hopes for this podcast. Just another triggered victim with a podcast.
