Powerful and moving
Podcasting at its best. A sensitive revisit to the Childers disaster. Will admit to reaching for the tissues more than once. Also a good reminder to be aware of your surroundings wherever you go and makes me ask once again why people have to pay such a high price for legislative change.

Very well put together. Excellent background music and very informative.

I love that we learnt about all the humans and how they were affected. The focus on the people and not the crime was a refreshing change. I remember The Childers fire happening but news stories never tell you the details. So beautifully told.

This pod tells an important , bittersweet tale of youth, adventure, loss, grief, generosity, and remembrance. The 15 lost backpackers are lovingly remembered here. Their stories and the stories of good people in a small town who rose to the moment is moving. It celebrates decency!
