Well worth a listen
Enjoyed this sensitively reported true account of a tragic event in Australia’s history. Uses recounts from survivors and the local community. Excellent reporting and well worth a listen.

Thank you from the United States — I just learned of this podcast today from the Australian True Crime podcast. I had never heard of this catastrophe! What a beautiful ode to the many victims, the survivors, and the town of Childers — so many suffered because of one individual who hated the world.

A fantastic recount of a tragic moment in Australia’s history. The full gamut of interviews from survivors to media to the Prime Minister of the time, John Howard. No stone unturned. Truly great journalism.
