Content is great, execution is not.
The podcast here has a very excellent subject matter, but the story telling is pushy and uncreative. The podcast is clearly trying to fit the mold of other popular types (i.e. Serial), but instead of letting the story tell itself, the narrator talks way too much and frequently pushes conclusions onto the listener; it would be much more engaging and interesting to allow more sound bites or journal entries to tell the story with guiding commentary along the way. Also, there is some good thematic music, but most of the added audio feels cheap and corny. Hopefully future episodes will be better!
