Amazing amount of source material
I am writing this after the release of episode 1, and so far I am very happy with the production quality and storytelling of this podcast. Nearly every detail is taken directly from Josh Powell's diary and interviews with people who knew him, such as his ex and his sister. I think it is important to note that KSL is owned by the LDS church, and I wish this would have been stated at the beginning. I'm not sure what the reporter's faith background is, but it is impossible for me to believe that this fact will not color the reporting in some way. That said, I am happy this case is getting a detailed examination and I hope it helps inch Susan and her boys towards the justice they deserve. And even if those answers are never reached, maybe this podcast can help someone else recognize the signs of abuse before it's too late.Read full review »

I live in Atlanta, Georgia but I lived in Utah when she first disappeared and I was devastated with the loss of multiple innocent lives. I cannot wait to hear what you’ve discovered.

Beautifully done and edited. You got me hooked! This story was one of the most shocking cases I have ever heard of. Hopefully as you continue I can get a better understanding of Josh’s behaviour.

Not sure why they slow roll the releases of these podcasts. The podcast is great but nobody wants to wait a week to listen to the next one... you forget or lose interest in where the story was. If all the podcasts were released at once it’d be 5 star for sure.
