Grace Dent is a brilliant interviewer, really insightful, pulls wonderful and different conservations from her subjects. The laughs and joy she transmits in fabulous. Always a really enjoyable listen! Some of the comfort foods sound quite revolting though!

I started listening to this podcast with the Dave Myers’s episode. I was brought up in the Lake District and listening to Grace and Dave talking about their childhood memories brought back so many memories of my own and gave me such a warm and fuzzy feeling. I happened upon this podcast on New Year’s Day (the extra one!) while cleaning out cupboards in the kitchen. It turned out to be perfect listening - warm and meaningful while still playful. It revealed Grace as a hugely empathetic character (contrary to what I pick up from her Masterchef persona)...Read full review »

This podcast is brilliant. What a concept. Grace’s voice with the ‘scrunchy’ packets sound effects and the anticipation of what today’s guest is going to choose for their snack, makes me want to gobble down the nearest available food stuff! I love that the show so beautifully combines and...Read full review »

A very funny, interesting and clever way, of getting a celebrity to talk about their past and present. What you eat tells a lot about a person...I would actually be interested in hearing : Graces own story & rise to fame ! How she came from Carlisle( I lived and attended the Art College there...Read full review »

Each week you can trust Grace to find a connection with her celebrity guest and their comfort food. Her delight, enthusiasm and empathy is effortless and the food be it sliced bread or “elephant foot” kebab is both a talking point and doorway into rich confessional conversation. This is the best podcast. If you love food and humour and gifted interviewers then Grace Dent is for you. I can hardly wait for Tuesdays. Her memoir is equally as fabulous.

Love the concept, adore Grace’s humour and humanity & the variety of personal insights which come to light through the seemingly simple device of sharing personal midnight snack secrets is always revealing, touching and surprising.

As usual everything Grace does is fantastic.

Always found Grace Dent rather forbidding on Master Chef. Then I started reading her column and listening to this podcast. Love the way she chats to her guests, getting them to open up and in return offering up a little about herself. I was very excited when the second series started. Trying to...Read full review »

There are some great guest’s but it’s starting to go the same way of other podcasts of having the same guest’s as other podcasts over and over again

Grace and Desiree Burch are my soulmates - just loved their connection and deeply funny but poignant conversation. Best life advice I’ve taken from this episode: ‘All the best things in your life are just over the other side of that ‘being scared of’ line…’

Have only listened to the Russell Tovey episode but looking forward to catching up on all episodes. Perhaps other episodes will be lacking in stunned nanny stories!

Stephen Fry and Deborah Meden were really interesting and the dialogue was witty and engaging. Two other episodes I listened to were banal and very mild cheddar. Embryonic.

This had a real fireside warmth about it. I felt that, I too, sat with Grace and Stephen, sharing some food, having a chat, laugh...and serious stuff too.

I’ve read and watched many interviews with Stephen Fry over the years and I’m familiar with much of his life story but I found this one so engaging, warm, insightful, revealing and funny through the prism of food. A real delight. Thank you

While the podcasts themselves are good, I cannot stand the chewing noises and the voice Grace puts on here. She speaks in tones that make me feel super uncomfortable, which isn’t the regular voice I hear her speak in. Cannot listen anymore.
