Addictively delicious
Grace Dent’s voice is a kind of aural comfort-food in its own right— think of hot , crunchy toast slathered in butter ( well you definitely will after Episode One!). The concept is great, the guests well-chosen, conversation warm , doen-to-earth and emotionally intelligent, — as far as you can get from vacuous celeb-worshipping chit-chat. My favourite time to listen to it is as an accompaniment to any sort of labour-intensive cooking..so a lot of serious soup-making now happens on Tuesdays, when the latest episode comes out.
