I see that some folks have a serious issue with the political aspect of this podcast. Personally, I love it. The fact is that policy MATTERS— it shapes all aspects of women’s health. I really enjoy hearing the political aspect and what we can do as women, mothers, and feminists to advocate for...Read full review »

It’s 2021 and I’m just now discovering this podcast even though it started several years ago. I believe that the personal is political—and that includes pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting. I was wanting to learn more about these topics from a perspective that took into account not just the...Read full review »

Wayyy too political for a pregnancy podcast, host is really unbearable to listen to.

I thought this would be more about pregnancy and/or birth but seems she talks a lot about politics. Everyone has their own views on politics but I am trying to prepare for a baby and get insight and strength on having a baby and I was little taken back on how much she try’s to enforce her views...Read full review »

Too much promotions of products like the guests’ book. ‘Yeah we have the ideas but you can find out from this book’.

I’ve tried a handful of episodes and am officially done trying. The host is so hard to listen to! You can tell in her interviews that the interviewee feels uncomfortable and as a listener, I can only handle so many filler words like: “um, uh, well, so....” As a podcast host I feel as though these...Read full review »

Great to hear information that is no nonsense and easily laid out. Highly recommend to ease your stress surrounding parenthood.

Even though I am in-line with you party-wise, I did not come to a pregnancy podcast to hear about your political opinions! I get plenty of politics elsewhere and just seriously don’t want to hear it. I had several episodes downloaded and ended up deleting them all because I dreaded having to...Read full review »

Selected the episode on prenatal genetic testing. The episode is 27 min long but the actual content about PGT won’t start until 14 min in.

I've been listening to a variety of pregnancy podcasts and was enjoying this one until it got political. What does the Mueller report have to do with taking care of newborns? I get tired of hearing about politics in the rest of our lives. Just stick to your pregnancy information and advice. ...Read full review »

Content might be good and seems to have a pulse on relevant and progressive opinions once she actually gets around to it, but I had to stop listening early into the episode because of how annoying it was to hear the host and her guest try to figure out some technical issues they were having with...Read full review »

Thank you so much for your podcast! I am the mother of a toddler and during my pregnancy with him I felt utterly lost, afraid, and stressed the entire time as a result of all the fear that was driven into me while pregnant. I just listened to your podcast with Daphne and what a relief to know...Read full review »

I have so far only listened to 2 podcasts and I gotta say - I enjoyed both of them very much! I find myself laughing out loud and taking notes of things I'd like to later research more on my own and I really enjoy the information I'm getting from these talks. Thank you!Read full review »

I really liked Jeanne Faulkner's book and browsing the topics she featured in her podcast, I was really excited to have come across her podcast. However, it appears she does absolutely zero editing. Every inane piece of small talk and completely unnecessary pieces of the conversation between...Read full review »

I love this podcast! Jeanne does a great job educating the audience of the options they have throughout childbirth. Skip the duplicate podcasts and keep creating more new ones! Her book was really great too!!

I love love love this podcast. I'm pregnant with my first and had so much anxiety around having my baby and the weird shifts of pregnancy. Unlike the terrifying stories or intensely bias- no science judgment you'll find online or in other podcasts this podcast takes a calm none judgmental...Read full review »

My husband and I have not started trying yet but will be in the next month or so. This podcast for me has been some great food for thought on areas I'd like to look into further. I really like the experts Jeanne has on each podcast to give you info from the trenches so to speak. I haven't...Read full review »
