Please edit this podcast. God help her
I really liked Jeanne Faulkner's book and browsing the topics she featured in her podcast, I was really excited to have come across her podcast. However, it appears she does absolutely zero editing. Every inane piece of small talk and completely unnecessary pieces of the conversation between herself and the interviewed person gets on the published podcast. Random personal details about herself get in, and she takes an extraordinarily long time to get to the topic at hand for no apparent reason other than Jeanne just loves to hear herself talk. I have the same sensation as being an unwilling party to an over-loud conversation on a bus and subway. Given that I often listen to podcasts on my morning commute, this makes the experience all the more unpleasant. I will sadly have to unsubscribe.Read full review »
