“When I listen to podcasts, I need them to 1) give me interesting and reliable information in 2) an entertaining way, and 3) I need to really like the hosts.
Conspirituality is absolutely unique; I don’t find it entertaining, I don’t like the hosts, and YET I CANNOT STOP LISTENING.
That may sound strange, but I mean it as the highest possible compliment. Their content is so important, compelling, rigorously researched, and unique that it transcends both my occasional irritation at their personalities and the legitimate disagreements I have with their stated positions.
This is the information and analysis I wish I could get in more traditional news publications. Sometimes I worry that I am in a bubble, having important conversations only with people who share my experience and beliefs. But every episode I listen to gives me a new example of people who are not like me (hosts and guests) taking on difficult topics in 100% good faith, with thoughtful self-critique and genuine care for their audience. Thank you for this project.”
