Always fascinating discussions with widely varied subjects. Been listening for years and sometimes go back to re-listen to favourites like David Coles and James Rebanks. Thanks so much Richard and Sarah. Keep them coming!

Sarah’s conversation with Hannah Gadsby is amazing. I’ve listened to and watched many interviews with Hannah and in this one, Hannah sounds relaxed and comfortable. This one has touched my heart and resonated with me on so many levels. Thanks Sarah and Hannah. 💖

I listen to a lot of podcasts but Conversations is my all time favourite. Both Richard and Sarah are top class interviewers in the same league as Michael Parkinson. They are both always well prepared and show a wonderful sensitivity and respect for the guests, drawing them out, listening to them...Read full review »

I have listened to this podcast for many years and miss having Richard do all the interviews. I can’t listen to Sarah her interview style is more like a journalist thinking about her next question and not even listening to the previous answer and responding to it. It drives me nuts. You feel that...Read full review »

Listen to one or more interviews from this podcast nearly everyday. Often listen more than once to the same interview. The 2 people responsible for interviewing are simply brilliant at their job. Interviewees are always interesting.

So often I think I have no interest in the interviewee. Only to be blown away by the story they tell.

Seriously love this podcast. I listen to it on my morning walk before I spend the day studying for university. It’s a great reminder to keep trying and that it’s ok to fail. I love the way it’s presented - keeps me interested the whole way through! Thank you!

ABC conversations I would love to give you five stars but you need to improve your gender balance! Both presenters and storytellers please 🙏🙏🙏 and still your gender balance is out 😔 please ABC resolve this unconscious bias.

So easy to settle in with the hosts Richard and Sarah and listen to them drawing out and deeply listening to their huge diversity of guests.

Been an avid listener for 15 years I learnt about Oz from this podcast. As we go through the pandemic would be great to more inspiring stories of the triumph of the human spirit.

“Much loved”, except by cyclists (such as my children) all of whom were threatened by her taunts to kill them. Father an assassin? Just like her with her car door to those on a bike.

Love your show which I listen by podcast. A request to replay Amanda McKelland who Richard interviewed on 05 Aug 2015. A nurse dealing with endemics. Rather apt in today’s environment. Thank you for your wonderful discussions Cheers, Taleen

Richard doesn’t know it but he is my old friend whom I’ve known for years and who lifts me out of myself and helps me to forget I have MS. He also shares his friends with me and they are all fascinating and delightful!

You just singe-handedly ruined the ending of Anna Karenina for me as I’m 600 pages in. I subscribe to more ABC podcasts than those that originate in Canada. The quality and integrity of your research is remarkable. Thanks to all those on air and to all those production teams who make these broadcasts possible.

Enthralling to listen to. So varied. Live BOTH Richard and Sarah’s interviewing styles. Just one thing-I can’t seem to find Sarah’s interview with Timothy Spall. I wanted to forward it on to my dad, who’s a big fan of Spall. Can you assist please?

I infinitely prefer Richard’s mellow calm tone of voice. It used to be a prerequisite that radio interviewers’ elocution, and laughter, was easy on the ears.
Granny Sally via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 02/23/20
I adore this podcast and listen to it, dare I say it, religiously. Both Richard and Sarah are brilliant, each with their own unique styles of drawing out the best from their guests. I hope that this show continues forever. Thank you.
