“I have been using a Guatemalan Tutor for the last 10 months during Covid lockdown. I've listened to various podcasts and different ones have different things to offer. I would say I am anAdvanced beginner and I can listen to the intermediate podcast here. I don't understand a lot of what they say but I get the gist painlesslyWhile I work out at the gym etc. Once in a while there's be a word I don't understand that keeps coming up and I try to learn it in context . Sometimes I figure it out and sometimes I don't. nevertheless, even if I look it up later, that's a word I never forget. I enjoy learning about various cultures and foods. The presenters laugh easily and I think are talking at usual speed.I'm about to start a trip in Spain and will likely spend more time looking at the podcast notes andVocabulary which I think will be quite helpful. I'll have more time then.Be sure to listen to the podcast first episode where he describes his method. It's very reassuring. He report you have to hear something in context about 15 times before you aquire it. I may be a 20 time person but it's nice to know if should not just take twice.”Read full review »
