I study the personality correlates of police decision-making which is critical if we are going to start understanding, predicting, and potentially changing the types of decisions that are made when police officers face challenging situations on duty.   I hope you enjoy my work! 

As we speak, the United States is suffering another round of riots in response to the police shooting of Daunte Wright. How do we, as forensic psychologists, understand the process of high-stakes decision-making and how can we know the degree to which someone is culpable? This is not an easy topic but it is one we MUST explore.
