Great concept, well executed. Funny !
I really love this pod. I'm pretty snobbish, and this pod isn't flawless, but the humor and fun is so good that a couple rough edges. It's consistently amusing, and the dark humor, especially of reader/ host Pietragallo, never fails to make me cringe- in a really good way. The subjects of the pod are, after all, people who despite (frequently) fame and wealth, are such f@&$ ups that their inevitable downfall is HILARIOUS! What dopes these people are. Goes to show that money don't make everything ok- especially if your personality is like a horny, rabid raccoon. If I could make a humble suggestion, it would be to give Wisman more to do. He sometimes struggles with a line, and with Pietragallo reading all the narrative, his only job is to make the funny. He Is funny, but if he read some parts it might take some pressure off. My favorite part is "in their own words", where the now defeated character explains his or her actions, and make ps some delusional statements about a fantastical future. Brilliantly done with romantic music to highlight the idiocy of these...idiots. They're gonna be big, so get on it now. Stay with it boys! Maybe some nascent, personality disordered but rich athlete will become your patron, then you can do an episode on them when the wheels come off. Writes itself. The Yankee DespotRead full review »

I love these two. They have a wicked sense of snark and more than a little schadenfreude!! Thank you for a great time.

As someone who drives 4500 miles a month commute each month in the Middle East, I go go through hundreds of pod casts. This is the first time I have thought a pod was worth commenting on. You don't have to like crime or sports pods to love what these guys do. They have some great catch...Read full review »
