Interesting Concept, Poor Execution
I like hearing the stories but the narrator is so irritating, she talks like an audiobook and asks irrelevant/uninteresting/even uncomfortable question- and not good uncomfortable either, like asking the child of the murdered parent if they ever considered what their parent would have done in the situation... Just kind of an eyebrow raiser. She's judgmental, too, calling this JRR fellow weird and eccentric because he goes on walks without aims and she kept bringing up how the prosecution told him to up his attire as if it's such a big deal and doesn't happen on a daily basis.Read full review »

I don't recommend listiening to this while driving. I got so caught up in the counterfeit money episode I had to pull over so I concentrate. How interesting that she didn't consider herself a criminal! I'm really looking foward to more episodes.Read full review »

Love love these series of stories. Rather than a straightforward reporting, it relies on multiple perspectives of people associated with the crimes: a journalist, a coroner (and her family), just 'normal' people with intent, and of course always layered in the account of the accused....Read full review »
