Four words that come to mind to express what this podcast is to me: honest, real, practical, and transformative. Ryan has a great perspective on how to communicate and engage with people, breaking topics down into easy-to-understand nuggets. So why should you listen to yet another "book-summary-productivity" podcast? Three reasons. Reason #1 - The books selected are heavy on practicality and very light on the woo-woo. Reason #2 - Ryan does his homework! He is prepared for every interview, and he dives into the "deep...Read full review »

You don’t have the time to read all these books. Break the importance of the highlights down with the authors themselves. What a great recipe this is. Cheers

Each podcast is a worthwhile summary of the latest Amazon, WSJ, NYT bestsellers in the motivational space. Good stuff: very good at summarizing, listener can get the basics and decide if they want to do the deeper dive and buy the source material, and Ryan picks good stuff to feature. Bad stuff:...Read full review »

I found this podcast after watching a YouTube video. The idea of breaking each book down into golden nuggets and then having the author tell the story is Gold. Ryan’s style is both positive and thought provoking. Looking forward to more content.

The interviews cut to the chase, and are not designed around selling the book. Pointed questions and some very practical tips. My favorite episode is with Kevin Horsley. I gotta admit though I skip through the movie clips in the end - the audio on those is not that discernible to listen in the car.
