Annoying hosts
Canadaland recommended this for some reason. I gave up after less than one episode (Sharon Prior). It’s like overhearing two boring guys discuss a crime story in the newspaper at a Canadian bar. Sidekick randomly interjecting “aw, jeez”. Not very funny dad jokes. Banter about French skills involving a case from Quebec; maybe you should find someone who speaks French to research it for you and pronounce things properly? I suppose they are most concerned about humanizing the victims and telling their back stories but give me the tough focus on fact finding you see with a podcast like Who Killed Theresa any day.

It’s so great! They joke which is refreshing but still so respectful to the victims. Zero complaints. Love hearing about my home 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦

This podcast is gravy; two fantastic hosts & a number of great topics. Their smooth voices combined with that strange, quintessentially Canadian sense of humour keeps it consistently laughable and macabre. Shout out to Kristi Lee of the Canadian True Crime Podcast for suggesting Dark Poutine...Read full review »
