Really tried to like it, but...
As a Canuck, I’ve learned a fair bit about some of the darker moments in my country’s history from this podcast. And I appreciate the attention given to who the victims were and the respect (usually) shown. BUT... The constant stream of Canadian tropes is annoying and does little more than affirm American stereotypes about Canada, inaccurate as they are in reality. Mike’s narrative is generally thorough and to the point....but seriously, Scott: use your inside voice. Saying “oh God” every 10 seconds is unnecessary. You’re working a true crime podcast...you’re going to hear about bad things that bad people do. The political correctness and virtue signalling is annoying as well. I’ll stick with Casefile.

Mike and Scott do an EXCELLENT job of covering Canadian true crime cases. REALLY liked the "Mike Met a Monster" episode ...such a terrifying story. Thank you for telling it. Keep up the great work, guys! ~Jami (Murderish podcast)Read full review »
