I love this podcast and how brave people are to talk about loss, something Irish people struggle to talk about. Some of the stories are heartbreaking 💔

Grief is a subject rarely touched on everyone experiences it but it’s so personal, the guests on this podcast speak so beautifully, there are times I’d wish Brian would stop jumping in like he knows the people personally and let the guests tell their stories but other wise a beautifully done podcast

Beautifully told story about Kate and her family. Thinking of her little girl. Having followed Sarah for many years it was surprising to hear her PND diagnosis and her fears before the birth of her twins. Really drove home the unrealistic aspect of social media as looking from the outside...Read full review »

Finally the uncomfortable conversations are being had, & we are better for having them, our feeling will only kill us if we keep them in.... “ expression is the opposite of depression “ Edith Eger. This is blessed work in my view.

I have just listened to the Lisa Shannon conversation and it really was lovely. I have listened to all of your episodes on here and each one different but you can always tell that the person who has suffered their loss has found it therapy to talk (as u say). Let’s face it, this is a tough subject at the best of times. Brian has achieved something that must have been so very challenging, struggling to come to terms with his own grief for his mother, he clearly has a gift with people, getting them to open up and this is even clearer in S2. I have...Read full review »

Brian i has never even listened to a podcast before and to listen to yours was just amazing. I cried every episode. I felt your pain and your guests pain and sadness too.
