This is a podcast required for a college course in graphic design. But far from boring and not just for graphic designers. Topics apply to anyone in any creative field. Short and very sweet listening.

I Dig Bro! I can tell you put your time and concentration into this show. I like how you have created a perfect balanced show that starts and ends the same way. Although it has a robotic humanoid feel sometimes, this aspect I feel appealing due to its clean and focused topics, almost as if there...Read full review »

I used this series as a supplement for a class. He describes these principals extremely well, and has more time than my teacher would in class.

A very strong podcast about graphic design in a world of self aggrandizing dreck. Please keep up the good work!

Design guy teaches design principles over technique, meaning you can apply this learning over your entire career. Forgive the overused proverb, but it is the best analogy for this podcast series: "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a...Read full review »

Design Guy strikes the difficult balance between educational content and attention-keeping delivery. He lives up to his slogan's promise of delivering "timeless principles of design", but all in perfectly timed snapshots. Excellent little podcasts that illustrate the fundamentals of Graphic Design and remind you of points that you, perhaps, had let slip. Great to listen to when cooking! All the essentials without trawling through numerous books although DesignGuy does mention some excellent books. A design bible!
