I was a recent guest on #single and am also a fan. Jeanette brings such enthusiasm for her interviews, which always go much deeper than surface level. They’re real about the upsides and downsides of modern dating, and give valuable insights, whether the listener is single or not. I especially...Read full review »

These are smart ladies who cover interesting topics & present the facts w/in the scope of their personalities. Unfortunately, certain people feel the need to bash those who examine the world through their narrow world view & feel the need to go full blown whiny Karen in the review...Read full review »

This show treats people as groups, not as individuals.

Absolutely vile sexist nonsense.

I have a hard time reading the low scores posted for this podcast. I found the women to be insightful despite me not agreeing with *everything* they said. It opened a door for me to learn and listen to a perspective outside of my own (something most of America needs to do!). I introduced the...Read full review »

I’ve enjoyed Liz Plank’s work for awhile now, and this podcast does not disappoint. Don’t listen to the bad reviews, they’re probably Russian trolls ...

Thanks for making this podcast. It is amazing.

I love each episode more. It's so easy to demonize the other side of political fights, and I think this show does a phenomenal job of humanizing the debate and utilizing research and diverse voices. Thank you!Read full review »

I was really hoping for a podcast that would value the conservative women’s voice and promote a strong discussion. I don’t associate with feminists because of the strong rhetoric liberal feminists have against values that I see as important. But I understand the importance of women coming...Read full review »

I feel like they don’t go in depth enough with any topic; just giving very high level disagreement on some topics but not going anywhere new. Also, their most recent episode about infidelity was not complete. It cut off in the middle of an interview. I happened to find it the most interesting...Read full review »

I honestly tried to give this podcast a few tries and most of the time it made me extremely disappointed because of the narrow viewpoints. I am a liberal, cis-gendered woman, and a feminist, so I thought this podcast would be great to listen to. The hosts on this podcast 'try' to make...Read full review »

Hi, first time listener here. The podcast about body-hating didn't sit right with me. It's a very nuanced topic and their analysis just...wasn't. 1) The hosts have a very surface-level understanding of what the body positivity movement entails. (I would suggest reading The Body is...Read full review »

To me, this is basically reliving conversations where people are unaware of their many biases. I find it frustrating that the republican woman cannot understand, for example, how Hugh Hefner is NOT a feminist. Her understanding of empowerment and feminism is just so very very basic. And not...Read full review »

Your ratings exhibit the rampant sexism we still face. Thank you for you bravery! Keep up the good work. You guests, being academics are fantastic and know well whereof they speak. My favorite way of gauging the extent of sexism and racism is to speak to members of those groups and watch their...Read full review »

The conservative side definitely needs more airtime. (And I am a serious progressive) Not sure if that is a product of editing or if Hitha is just less vocal, but it doesn't really feel like they are having many back and forth conversations. It feels like Liz created this show to convince her...Read full review »

The hosts are likeable and intelligent with thought-provoking topics and guests. I am a self-proclaimed liberal; however, it seems like the conservative view points on this podcast are very limited. I am a liberal feminist. I agree with Liz Plank just about 100%. But there are plenty of places to get those opinions validated. I was really looking forward to hearing an intelligent debate. The topics are interesting, but unfortunately Liz tramples all over Hitha (the more conservative host)....Read full review »

The show is ok. But would love to hear both liberal and conservative views equally! Seems to be a little more left leaning. Also the second episode is great because things were presented with factual evidence. I’d love to hear more than just opinions. Other than that the hosts are great!

The concept itself is AWESOME. Women are more often than not grouped as just that—women. I was hopeful that this podcast would shed light on the fact that women are incredibly diverse in opinion, experiences and lifestyles, and that has a huge effective on their political leanings. Amazing how many people used an iTunes review to go on a diatribe about their own personal political opinions. “I disagree with you so I’m giving you one star!” “Me and everyone I’ve ever met in my life switched parties because of people like the hosts!” This is a fine podcast and it deserves a...Read full review »

I think both women are interesting, though I will say, speaking as someone who largely agrees with Liz Planks (the “liberal” side) positions and beliefs, much of the show seems to lean toward the liberal side.

The podcast is done well. You know, the sound quality and music is solid. Nice flow to it as well. The hosts are interesting and work well with their guests. Great concept but needs some tweaking. I didn’t hear from Hitha enough and would like to hear a real in-depth debate between these two. I desperately want to learn how the conservative side things, so I’d like to hear Hitha speaking up and citing her opinion and facts more.
