Uneducated and arrogant, in it to make money
I have listened to Matt and reviewed his content on social media. I was told about him from a friend who isn’t knowledgeable on health and wellness. Some of the things he talks about is generally good health advice. A major flaw is that he believes one size fits all. Sure, a lot of things can be applied to the masses, yet he likes to think that all of his advice and diet is what every single person should do. He’s neglecting to realize genetics, diseases can play a huge role in the appropriate diet. My friend also purchased this expensive machine to make magnesium bicarbonate, saying it’s the only form of magnesium one should take. Yes, it is true this is the source of magnesium humans used to get a long long time ago before it was depleted, but it doesn’t mean thats the only form of magnesium one can take. There are a lot of other forms of magnesium that are highly bioavailable, and not everyone experience’s side effects from different forms of magnesium and it isn’t necessary to purchase a $800 dollar machine to supplement magnesium. The products he sells are extremely overpriced, and you can purchase the same supplements on Amazon for half the price. It’s like he is learning stuff in real time, one minute he’s selling DHA, the next he says it’s toxic. I believe he just listens to Ray Peat PhD, and regurgitate’s the information for monetary gain. He really should be more open minded, not banning or blocking anyone who disagrees with him. Any true expert is open to new ideas and considers the possibility they could be wrong. This is what happens when you have an uneducated cannabis salesman who moves to the sticks and now thinks he’s a health expert. Please do your own research and do not take everything he says as fact.

This podcast feels like it’s all about Matt asking questions to help himself. I’m disappointed that he bashes people that he used to agree with. I also don’t care for his interview style.

Matt is a fresh breath of air in an industry over saturated with unhelpful health jargon. He’s truly one of a kind & his views are thought provoking & life changing. So grateful to have found him
