One of my favourite Who podcasts. This is presented by two Aussies who always manage to be opinionated but fair, likeable and often amusing. I’ve been listening for several years now.

42 to Doomsday is my favorite Doctor Who podcast by a mile, and I'm a lifelong Who fan who listens to a LOT of podcasts. Hosts Rob and Mark have an enviable depth of knowledge and a real love for the show both past and present, but whereas other podcasts simply settle into covering the same...Read full review »

It's fun all the way with the guys with the third most convincing Australian accents in podcasting (fancy being beaten to silver by an Exeter podcast). Apart from that, it's gold medals all the way with this podcast. When it comes to Doctor Who, they don't pull their punches or their hugs. As...Read full review »

This Podcast is really great because you are presented with an Australian flavoured view of Doctor Who. Keep up the good work guys !

I love a good laugh, in a nice way I mean. Not at you but with you. Look I'm trying, and failing, to say I enjoyed listening a lot.

A great show. Rob and Mark have a very natural conversational style which makes 42 To Doomsday a very enjoyable listen. Nearly as good as The Blue Box Podcast.

Smart, intelligent Doctor Who discussion -- with an emphasis on the classic era -- from two guys in Australia. Sound like your cup of tea? Try it, you won't regret it.

There are a few Doctor Who podcasts that are frankly unmissable - Radio Free Skaro, The Blue Box podcast, Diddly Dum, The Memory Cheats.... and "42 to Doomsday" definitely deserves to be on the list. Two guys down-under, with the odd occasional guest, have a relaxed chat about a topic associated...Read full review »

An informative and engaging listen, from two guys who plainly have no taste when it comes to the recent series ( :-) ), but know their stuff right enough when it comes to classic Doctor Who.

Cracking stuff from the 2 hosts . Fun and informative , looking at stuff ( mainly ) from years ago , but with enough New Who thrown in to keep every Whovian happy . Well worth a listen and subscription .

Great to finally have a podcast that is engaging and just enjoys Doctor Who, but is willing to cast a critical eye when mentioned. The creators' conversational manner is really good, and nice to know someone else thinks Invasion of the Dinosaurs is a great story. looking fwd to the next...Read full review »

Trying to find decent podcasts about Doctor Who is challenging - with so many to choose from, there is a massive variability in quality. 42 to Doomsday may be a very recent addition to the collective, but neatly avoids the common pitfalls befalling many of its peers. The hosts are personable and...Read full review »

I found these guys via the Capaldi 'cast and have now downloaded the others. Nice to hear an actual conversation as opposed to constant reviews and in-jokes. Subscribed - hope there's another one coming soon!
