“This podcast has given me a foundation for analytical and economic thinking and has set me on a path of discovery through Smith, Mises, Bastiat, Hayek, etc. 2 years into reading classic economics I am still amazed at how much I can understand about human action, policies, and institutions by understanding basic principles. Russ does a tremendous job of covering the "low hanging fruit" and slowing the conversation to elaborate on unfamiliar/complex principles. “The guests on this podcast are brilliant and thought-provoking. I gave it four rather than five stars because the host; Russ Roberts, seems just a bit arrogant and it irritates me. Still, EconTalk is definitely worth the time.”
