Highly recommended
Econtalk is a fascinating, educational (without sounding like a lecture) and very regular podcast. While the subject matter is often detailed and complex, no economics training is required and one of the constant themes is how the subject relates to every-day life. The podcasts seems to attract some of the top names in academia including nobel prize winners, 'pop-economists' who regularly feature in the media and even Miltion Friedman himself. I consider it a minor miracle for an economics podcast that of the 100+ episodes I've heard, only 2-3 have bored me. I can't recommend the podcast highly enough to anyone with more than a passing interest in economics. P.S. anyone looking for stock-tips will be disappointed.Read full review »

Russ and his guests have amazing discussions on a variety of economic topics, generally with an Austrian (libertarian) spin. With or without a background in econ, everyone can learn from these podcasts.
