(This is in...Read full review »

It's too painful to go back and re-listen to these, knowing how it all ended, but I wish Jon & Dave would return to the pod-waves with something new. They were excellent company on long drives :)

Please come back and make a new podcast!! With Trump, we are going to lose abortion rights, scientific advancement, first amendment, clean energy, etc.. Don't let us lose Jon Kimball and David Rees too!!!!!! 😭

The idea of working on betting markets was interesting. I kinda wish I'd listened before the election. However; the basic premise of the podcast got you in trouble. In the first episode you were out to "make money off stupid Trump supporters". You should have been there to make money off...Read full review »

Thank you! I know we all feel defeated but this result does not reflect our countries values. There is a lot of work to do. It would be great if you guys continued to podcast in any show format.

I stumbled on you guys on accident and it was one of the greatest mistakes ever. I've been dutifully folowing this podcast since it started and I feel like I've really gotten to know you guys. You've made me laugh and, with that last episode, you made me cry. As someone who lives in the...Read full review »

Coming in about halfway through, this podcast has been a beacon of light in a very dark time. I will miss these antics so much.

In the same day I am writing this review I watched Star Trek: The Motion Picture (1979) for the first time and it is really really boring. I only bring this up because on the surface this podcast seems like it would be boring (lots of math) but it's not. It's way funnier and more interesting...Read full review »

David Rees is very, very funny. John (it might be Jon) is more of a straight man here, but he is funny and informative. When the election is over, Starlee better get back to solving mysteries.

I'm not in the betting markets at all, but I love politics and smart podcasts. These guys are great to listen to. Just listen to it already.

I would go back through this entire awful election again to hear Jon and David talk about it. Best podcast! Ride that wave.

I've been a big fan of pretty much everything David Rees has ever endeavored to do. This podcast is a fascinating venture into a world that most people never knew existed. Jon has a surprisingly nuanced and valuable understanding of the political sphere. David, as always, is hilarious and so...Read full review »

*at least, of all the political junkie podcasts made by former anonymous rock band bandmates. Highly recommended if you love fast money action, dizzying sums, and wild podcast nights! I am happy to leave a review since listening to Jon and David's advice put me in the black on PredictIt! This has become my favorite podcast! It really makes this depressing election year gain some interest. The guys are hilarious as well!

You spent most of your podcast slamming 538 for no reason and overpronouncing Ts in response to a review. Grow up!

I'm extremely preemptively sad that this podcast going to end forever in November, I love it so much. Right now I'm just trying to ride the wave of joy that it brings me. David and Jon are my only source of news on the election. I'm going to continue to ride the wave, and you should too rookie. Fuck538 is a great hardcore band name.

David & Jon are immensely entertaining. This podcast / project abstracts this toxic election without trivializing it. The editing & music variations are really fun. David Rees has an unreal gift for turning political angst into a sort of joy.

The prospect of a president trump is horrifying. This is the only thing about this election I can laugh about. David's enthusiasm is the best and John has great election opinions.

This has been my favorite podcast since I listened to the Episode 0 explainer episode. David and Jon are highly entertaining and make me laugh repeatedly every week, which is a welcome relief from the rest of the election coverage. This podcast is hilarious, unique, and one of my favorite election-related shows. I've never had an interest in betting or prediction markets, but I love politics. This podcast is ostensibily about making profits and riding waves on predictit.org, but the truth is, you'll get a weekly approximate hour of intelligient thoughts on the election and ridiculous observations about the week in politics. Wow, I really wanted to like this show and the guys don't do a half bad job. But I just could not take the constant bashing of anyone but Hillary Clinton. I'm anti-Trump but these guys are so in the bag for Hillary that it makes the show undoable. Time to keep searching for non-shilling options

This podcast is hilarious, fascinating, and thoroughly entertaining. BUT- I cannot for the LIFE OF ME bear hearing Kimball's obnoxiously produced consonants (debaTe, anyone?)- and Lord knows I tried. David “Kid Midas” Rees is one of our nation’s greatest artists and it is literally a crime that he does not have some sort of cushy sinecure that frees him up to continue riding bigger and bigger waves as well as touching things and turning them into gold in his efforts to maximize the data by a...Read full review »

They are so biased it's unbelievable. The podcast is not funny, or informative. They need to plan their episodes before they record them. It seems like it produced on the fly, with no real thought.

A brilliant satire of the election campaign.
Harpo 1975 via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 09/12/16
Great show. Jon and David have a keen eye for the absurdity of this election cycle. My take away: it's better to laugh with bewilderment this fall than to wallow in despair for America's future.
