About halfway through the episode I listened to was about 20 seconds of silence. That’s only 0.6%. Where can I find a podcast with at least two minutes of silence?

I came across this podcast while doing a search for contemplative content. This is the time of year where I intentionally let my mind take a back seat and allow myself more space to “encounter.” The conversations between the co-hosts are insightful and engaging - a nice mix of both head and...Read full review »

This is a wonderful podcast on silence and contemplation. It has very wise and thought-provoking guests. Although the background of the hosts seems to be Catholic Christian, the podcast itself crosses boundaries of faith and denomination to explore the basic human need we all have (even if we...Read full review »

I enjoy each podcast with both the penetrating questions and guests that have deep spiritual knowledge. Many times I will listen to a podcast 2/3 times. I’ve also been impressed with the 30 second silence break, they practice what is in their hearts. Thank you, Encountering Silence.

Talking about silence is a paradoxical task You have to convey it as much as talking about it. This podcast reguarly succeeds in doing that. I am very thankful for this podcast.

I’ve come to find this podcast by no accident I’m sure! I’ve listened to three so far and I feel as if I’ve found my oasis and fellow comrades. It’s brought nourishment to my soul, joy to my soul, and enticement to my mind.

The line up here is a contemplative dream team. It’s fun to have some of the questions repeat: who is your silence hero? What is your relationship to silence? When did it begin?

This podcast is the show I have been waiting for. As a poet oriented towards a comtemplative path of life, Encountering Silence has enriched my weeks. Kevin, Carl, and Cassidy are wise hosts and their love of silence as presense pours out and into the lister. Thank you!

There is so much clutter out-there and in-here. I am grateful to have found one of the most engaging podcasts on all things Silence. It could just be the one of best way to declutter the being. The hosts are just as clearly open to truth wherever it may be found--as it facilitates creating space...Read full review »

I love the clarity and solidarity this episode brought to me. I would often be jealous for silence as a child, I thought I was the only one. I’m looking forward to more from the podcast
