Emily reminds me of a 16 year-old white boy
I first watched Emily in Paris during Christmas 2021 when I had COVID and spent 10 days in quarantine over the holidays-basically the most unintentionally masochistic punishment I could ever have imagined. I had just returned from visiting Paris and was excited to see the sights, but little did I know that I’d be watching a 10 year old girl masked in a 20 something year-old body destroy everything and get away with it. She’s like the kind of 16 year-old white boy whose worst life experience so far was finding out that Santa isn’t real-and she doesn’t yet know that being an adult is hard for people. Ugh! Thank you for sharing in and easing my pain on a weekly basis.

More reviews of Enemy in Paris
Emily in Paris was a guilty pleasure for me, but Sam and Bec have shown me what it truly is— a hilarious annoyance. My second viewing has me cracking up over Emily being so clueless, and smug in every way. Thank you Enemy in Paris. Also, can we please talk about Emily’s teeny little gloves?

I’m here to bring the American perspective of someone whose never watched this show. This podcast is awesome, so funny- Bec and Sam are a great duo! Already hate Emily. Might actually start watching, probably not but maybe.
