A wonderful trip down memory lane for a pop culture nerd and a fascinating ‘where are they now’ and a ‘how did they get there’. So much fun.

I listened to this while doing housework today and I have to say, Erica is still so pleasant to listen to. I’m glad this podcast exists, MM was a huge part of my life back then and knowing where my favourite personalities landed is reassuring. Keep up the good work Erica!

Loving these podcasts! I was late to the game being a Strombo fan but once I discovered his CBC talk show I was hooked. Totally enjoyed his interview with Erica!! Looking forward to catching up listening to all of the interviews.

As a tween and teen in the 80s and 90s, my dream job was a VJ on MuchMusic. This is a great look back, but also just as importantly, that careers can change and transform over decades. Great insight. Was happy to stumble on to this, as I really enjoyed reading Christopher Wards book on Much and...Read full review »

Like a great book where you find yourself slowing the pace of your reading in hopes the story never ends. I now find myself listening to ‘Reinvention of the VJ’ in short spurts in hopes that the final available episode doesn’t end too quickly. (Looking forward to you posting more…)

Sure, it’s an honest and authentic conversation, 1:1, with your favorite VJs that defined an era for millions of us Gen Xers. But more importantly, it rekindles memories and emotions of that time when we were discovering new music, talking on analogue phones with friends, mimicking while defining...Read full review »

Terrific! Growing up in the 80s-90s, Much Music and its VJs had a tremendous impact on how I perceive and engage with music and visual culture. Erica Ehm’s deep dives with former VJs are nostalgic, funny and poignant. Well edited, professional and an all around solid listen!
