“Have listened to all the episodes though "Why we travelled to Costa Rica"
Gotta say, they progressively lost me over the course of the last year. The list of visitors that came to their house in North Carolina (and all the "new" friends they referenced making), maintaining that they kept social distance for just a revolving door of visitors. Think about all the unneccesary points of contact with the travel time for all those people. And then "we only travelled to stay put" but now their parents are coming down to Costa Rica to visit? Another example of unnecessary travel.
They talk about how they've worked really hard to have this kind of lifestyle. They also are, more than most, fully capable of just staying home and being able to afford it. As proved by the purchase of a $500-800k beach house, on top of primary residence and multiple AirBnB properties. Y'all are the example of people who could be responsible and weather the pandemic, and just stay home. But you refused and have been making excuses. This is further troubling because you're actively giving permission to others to travel through your actions. I've listened to over 500 episodes, but I'm done, and I regret any part of promotion I gave that enabled you to flout responsible choices.”Read full review »
