Listening to the podcast is such a delight! As lonely as it can get in the studio whenever I tune in I feel like I’m sitting around talking art with my art friends. You are both so relatable and I really enjoy the conversations!

Sometimes forget how quiet and isolating it can be as a studio artist working on your own - but these 2 bring the company, the silly giggles and the helpful chat. I’ve been an Instagram + email FLAAP subscriber for a while, but late to actually tuning in to an episode 🫣 Now I’m binging to catch up!

These girls always offer me a little gem to get me through my very stressful (at the moment) week. “This too Shall Pass” was exactly what I needed to hear today. Giving me hope in my life not just my art practice.

I highly recommend this for the honesty and experience that is so freely shared. Hugely encouraging, because most of us can relate to those feelings you get when treading that fine and shakey line between success and failure.

Upon listening to this I though of an exercise I did with a therapist months ago. Aside from making us all feel normal for our failures these two also drop great studio tips which , for the aspiring artist like me, are super helpful! In particular the varnishing ep really unlocked some of the mystery of that process for me .
