Interesting stories, hostess issues
These are fascinating & amazing stories & I've been drawn in to each of them. I’m so glad that Dani Shapiro has put this podcast together. That being said, Dani brings up her own story in literally every episode. Whenever the guest’s story is similar to her own (the guest thought she was Jewish & she wasn’t! The guest thought this guy was his dad & it wasn’t!) Dani will head off on a tangent to again share her own story. While I get that she might be doing a sort of therapy for herself, processing & working thru her trauma, it is getting tiresome & almost enough to lead me away from the podcast.Read full review »

I want to hear more of these interesting stories! I’m so annoyed that I have to keep listening to the host go off on these overdramatic tangents about shame and comparing her own story to every situation. Let the stories speak for themselves!
