“Editing, losing a star. 4 minutes of ads BEFORE the show, and more in between? That's insanity. Only rarely okay of the show is offering a premium, ad-free version. But to knock the show down to twice a week AND double the ads is a lot to ask for.
The show used to be an everyday staple, where I could look forward to half an hour to an hour of content with a roundtable of fun hosts. Nowadays, it's maybe 3 days a week if we're lucky, one of the days usually taken up by a recap of a Disney+ show (Star Wars, MCU, normally). But I watched those shows so that wasn't an issue. They've also now gotten into ads, which really sours the experience. I know the purpose of ads and revenue, but why now? After years of doing this ad free, why do it now when the show is inconsistent at best? It's a huge turn off. Brad, Ben and newer host Ryan are all great! “This podcast is entertaining as well as full of great information, news and opinions. It does however get irritating when some of the guests (Hoai-Tran Bui) constantly lament in the casting or hiring of “white men”or “white women”.
