I love listening to this podcast and the season 1 episodes. Would really love a third season. Come on Avid! Telling the stories of a true independent filmmaker. A Director who takes care of his crew and his vision first over the money of the studio. Thank you

Yes it got repetitive. If I have to hear him or Quentin go on about how no one over 30 should make fIlms I'll pull my remaining hair out, but it was entertaining. I think they continued it on some exclusive website but if I can download it to iTunes it's pretty much useless for this iPhone guy.

I've been a fan of Kevin Smith's filmmaking for awhile. As a filmmaker myself, this podcast has plenty of great advice, real, true, and extremely helpful.

Not only is this a GREAT podcast for beginning filmmakers but, it's inspirational for anyone self creating their dreams and careers. As a film writer myself, it's great to hear the newbies being guided by a man who just decided to create what he wanted to. I can see regs of Kev Smith podcasts not...Read full review »

I really wanted to like this. I almost stopped after the second episode but wanted to give it a chance. Well, I've given up. Unfortunately, in this case, Kevin Smith's humor and talkative nature get in the way. Literally half of the hour-long episodes involve Kevin introducing everyone and making...Read full review »

Repetitive and self indulgent.

I'm a fan of Kevin and most of his Smodcasts, and this one had some potential but it doesn't do it for me. As someone above said every episode is the same..."Guy, I'm on my way out....blah blah let me impart wisdom...."....then a few **** sucking jokes and the same three stories about Mirimax....Read full review »

Stick to Bible beating. Her pathetic review reflects her narrow world view, and her boasts are easily disproven lie. Kev on, Smith.

The profanity is unprofessional? No disrespect ma'am, but have you even heard of Kevin Smith? Great stuff, Kevin.

Wanted to listen and learn from this guy, we produce a TV show in a foreign nation. Two million viewers daily, on 100 stations, aired in several countries. But the profanity is not only unprofessional, it is offensive.

It's funny, interesting, and you may not learn the technicalities of the craft, but it's talking shop with an experienced and extremely candid filmmaker... What more do you want, it's free!!! I've paid more for a lot less... And the intro music always gets me ready to dance...

One of the other reviews made a good point in that this podcast is directed toward a niche audience (young filmmakers) but can easily be applied to other folks endeavoring to start or continue any artistic or creative project. Some great, frank conversation that is funny and very open. Here's to...Read full review »

As a UK Film School graduate I find this both interesting and informative. Never heard of Avid until this pod. Always used FCP. Will see what all the fuss is about.

It's stupid how good this podcast is, if you are a fan of Kevin Smith or filmmaking in general then this is the podcast for you... 10 stars out of 5

Mr. Smith has done it again. If you are at all interested in making movies ( or doing anything creative, for that matter) then you owe it to yourself to listen to this podcast. I really hope he continues to do this show. I understand that want-to-be filmmakers is a niche audience and that the...Read full review »

Thanks to Kevin Smith us filmmakers finally have an interesting podcast dedicated to the art of film that is actually entertaining. I loved the Red State series of podcasts and this one is proving to be just as good!
