Be Kind
I used to genuinely love this podcast and the FMH platform. I was a paid member on Patreon and a pretty loyal follower. However, over the past few months Ali has gotten increasingly rude in her advice giving. On her live videos and on the podcast she comes across as abrupt and rude when speaking to her followers and answering listener questions. She is absolutely not obligated to speak about her personal life as she likes to constantly remind us, BUT it’s a little hypocritical to build a following out of doing so and then say that. A tip: if you don’t want to answer questions about your dating life, don’t build a platform based on sharing who you’re dating, monetize it, and then act offended when followers ask about it. That is not the only time when she is rude though, even when answering questions listeners ask for advice in their lives she is unnecessarily curt, judgy, and demeaning. I wish she could find the balance of giving straightforward advice and also being kind, but it seems as though she can’t.

Hearing about the different situations you both have encountered and how you go about dealing with them is so encouraging to me. I feel a lot more...Read full review »

I recently went through a very difficult break up, and while I’m not quite ready to date, I’ve listened to every episode and it’s helping me feel hopeful after heartbreak. Ali and Roark are so funny, relatable, and optimistic about finding love that it is giving me hope that I will still find my...Read full review »
