“I heard about this podcast through tik tok and after reading all the good reviews, I decided to check it out. I listened to about five recent episodes before writing this but I can’t say it’s my favourite love and relationship podcast. The hosts seem very cold and their dynamic is super stilted. Every time one of them tells a story about their dating life it feels like the other is not super engaged or is just offering canned responses until the story is over. Their dynamic is not much better with guests. Any time there is an interesting or organic sidetrack there’s an awkward announcement of “this is off topic!” and the conversation stalls. I don’t know if this is a practice thing or a personality thing but not my cup of tea!”
