Ali snipping at Erica
I used to enjoy this show but lately it’s been very hard to listen to because Ali is constantly snipping at Erica (on the main pod and especially on the Patreon). It seems like every episode has become Ali getting angry at Erica saying an innocuous or well-intentioned thing. A recent example is when Ali was expressing some regret over sleeping with someone, and Erica kindly told her she shouldn’t feel ashamed over it. Ali then quickly snapped at her that she doesn’t feel ashamed. Erica seems like a great friend and it makes me sad to listen to Ali constantly put her down. (I’m not saying that 100% of the things Erica says come out perfectly, but Ali flips out over things that are completely banal). It seems like Erica has outgrown Ali and this podcast. I think Ali needs to take a break from the podcast and work with a new therapist to break her anxious dating patterns. It’s obvious that she’s acting out of anxiety and insecurity, and it’s ruining both her friendships and potential relationships.

Just finished the first episode, and even being in a committed relationship, I loved hearing their perspective on dating, boundaries and relationship type advice. Can’t wait for more episodes!

For the most part, the podcast is ok. Sometimes the ladies can be unkind and judgy of men. In the last episode, they played a voice message from a man and said his response to a photo was wrong. I mean, don’t continue talking to him if you didn’t like his response but don’t say his response was...Read full review »
