Really enjoyed this show. Often provides different angles on issues not explored by other podcasts.

Worth listening, enjoy the well thought questions

Is this woman supposed to be a serious journalist? She is so hard to take seriously as she lacks so much confidence she can’t go off script and can barely ask a question or put a whole sentence together. She tries to be compelling but she just isn’t, lacks tack and insight. She acts like a child...Read full review »

Raj is one of my favourite parliamentary reporters. I consider her an authority on current federal politics analysis. Her podcast interviews almost sound as if you are in the room, as Raj uses language that is easy for all to understand. She asks very good questions and her segments are in-depth...Read full review »

Althia Raj’s reputation precedes her in the world of Canadian journalism. Her podcast with HuffPost Canada is no letdown. Her questions are pertinent and, unlike similar programs produced by the CBC/Radio-Canada, she doesn’t let her guests get away with non-answers. This is a refreshing change...Read full review »

I admire her interview style and her digging into issues that deserve it.

Found this podcast on someone’s tweet recommending it. It is excellent and I am just sad I didn’t find it sooner. Althia has good interview skills and brings out guest’s perspective without interfering by adding her own ideas and cutting them off. Nice to hear polite and analytical discourse on...Read full review »

What a fun to listen to the podcasts on most relevant topics in Canadian politics. Always very spicy! And yes - relevant - I said that already :-) My favourite podcasts from the recent ones: about the secret history of Centre Block and the one with Maxime Bernier (he got really "fried"...Read full review »

I just discovered Follow-Up and now I am hooked. Athia Raj’s interview of Maxime Bernier was outstanding. She asked some tough questions but was always respectful. Even he was impressed by her knowledge of his platform. I look forward to catching up on past episodes and hope many new episodes...Read full review »

To often journalists are just willing tools for politicians to spin issues with no push back. Your interview with Maxime Bernier made me so happy, you came prepared, you pushed back. Thanks.

This is the best Canadian political podcast out there. Keep up the great work Althia! Your tough but honest questioning reminds me of @mehdirhasan and is super refreshing.

Those were really good. I like how you pushed him. I think he might be xenophobic but I do like his federal tax idea.

This sounds like a TV show that they just ripped the audio of and called it a day. The format is awful without the visual aspect. People are never introduced who are speaking, topics change at random, and it goes from panel discussion, to voice over, to a formal interview, to an informal...Read full review »

Enormously helpful podcast. Kudos all 'round to HuffPost and Raj for these productions. Huge step up from the usual talking points delivery fare on the major media platforms.Read full review »

Really good podcast. I especially liked hearing Althia challenge Environment Minister Catherine McKenna on the disconnect between the recent IPCC climate change report and the policies of her government.

Just listened to a 2nd episode, on Canada & the Security Council. Good job Altria! Liking forward to more like this.

Penetrating coverage of Canadian issues. Behind the scenes coverage. Revealing and hard-hitting interviews for the politics and news junkie. Always polite and respectful. Will definitely help form my opinions going in to next election.

I’ve been following Althia’s work for a while on HuffPost and CBC News. She’s a great interviewer and presents Canadian politics, for appeal to a younger audience that should be engaged.

I really love Follow-Up’s approach – providing in-depth commentary, reporting and access to politicians that I can’t find anywhere else. The interview with Andrew Scheer was the most informative one I’ve seen or heard on his political intentions and ideas. I also enjoyed the latest interview...Read full review »

Love this podcast. We need more Canadian politics podcasts! In the first episode they didn't want to make it 90 minutes but I would have loved it! Keep it up - put it out as often as possible. Thanks so much!!Read full review »
