"a trusted friend and mentor"
I've been vegan (now I align more with plant-based) ever since my mother and I started listening to Colleen back in 2014. The rigor she brings to her work in activism is matched only by her compassion and common sense, and, six years later, listening to Food for Thought is like listening to a trusted friend and mentor. You really can't go wrong with any of her episodes, and any new vegans or vegan-curious folks will learn a ton from her. I also like when she expands her subject matter and talks a bit more about life in general; it is clear that she strives to live in accordance with her values across the board. Thanks for a great show, Colleen.Read full review »

I am learning on the benefit of a vegetarian diet. Colleen is knowledgeable and this is very interesting. She also went out of her way to help me learn more information when I emailed her. Hope this podcast continues. I wish Colleen lots of success.Read full review »
