This show could be great
I really enjoy the subject discussed. I really enjoy that they are all under 15 minutes, keeps things clean and concise. The one thing I find frustrating is that it sounds as if it is being read off cue cards. If they could present the data more as a conversation between the hosts and less of the cue card tone this show would rocket up the charts. I think you ladies do a great job but a little less script and more ad lib free flowing conversation and you're golden. 2nd recommendation, random music, sound effects etc also seem forced in certain places. Listen to the flow of some of the NPR and Gimlet podcasts and listen to these and you'll see how such dynamics can work wonders for your show. Keep up the great work, really looking forward to hearing this show evolve as you go!Read full review »

The overall concept of the podcast is great, but the information presented is just stuff you can find on wikipedia - there’s no real investigation or new insights here. Lillian in particular sounds like a little kid in her diction, choice of words, and sentence construction. It’s off-putting.
