It's not just climbing...
Having followed Kathy's blog for some time and seeing what she posts on facebook, I was blown away by her podcast. While her blog is mostly about adventure and having fun, her podcast digs deeper into how we struggle, and what good untimately can come from it. As I listened to the first episode, I was sitting in a hotel room having just broken my ankle in a climbing fall. I had been struggling with what this meant for me. How would this change my summer plans, and how would it be to get back on the sharp-end of the rope once I'm able. And what climbing really means to me. It is topics like these that Kathy takes on in her podcast. Having climbed for many years, authored books on climbing, and coached thousands of climbers, I think a lot about climbing. But it's seldom about how I or so and so just sent the latest project. Most often it is about struggles I experience or observe and how climbing provides great metaphors and such a great testbed for human growth. Congratulations Kathy...you are producing something that is needed by people wanting to understand how to grow from their struggles and the struggles of others. Bravo!Read full review »

Kathy’s work is bravely honest, about the good,...Read full review »
