“I am an avid listener of beauty and cosmetic science podcasts, so maybe I'm not the audience for this podcast. The hosts claim to be into beauty products but don't seem to understand some basic things. Not to mention, they can't pronounce any of the brand or product names. If a product comes up in conversation and you don't know how to pronounce it, fine. But if you specifically bring products on air to discuss and recommend them (and try to sell them via affiliate links) you should take five seconds to Google and see how it's pronounced. I also don't think we need yet another person recommending BR P50 and Creme de La Mer, but maybe that's just me being jaded. It's this sort of laziness that perpetuates the stereotype of beauty being a vapid industry, and it's driving me crazy that I keep getting excited about new beauty podcasts and then let down at the consistent lack of effort across the board.”Read full review »
